The City of New Richmond is made up of inspiring natural areas, amazing schools, eclectic businesses and community members who support the common good. The City of New Richmond’s Economic Development Division actively promotes growth and development by supporting existing businesses as well as attracting new companies to our community.  We assist in job creation by seeking great locations for businesses or individuals with high visibility, high value, convenience and affordable locations. The City of New Richmond will lead and support any business through the development process by providing efficient and excellent services.  We will strive to assist with needed resources and financial incentives to interested firms and entrepreneurs in startup, expansion or relocation to this area. The success of this mission will be demonstrated by sustained stability and growth of economic activity.

Our location, within thirty-five minutes of the Twin Cities St. Paul-Minneapolis Metro area, with a four lane highway bridge connecting over the St. Croix River in Stillwater makes New Richmond and the surrounding region extremely enticing for businesses and people that want to enjoy our pristine rivers, creeks, wooded areas, many parks, miles and miles of trails and the beautiful St. Croix River Valley.
