Dog License

The City of New Richmond requires that all dogs 5 months of age or older be licensed.  The license year is from January 1 through December 31.  In order to process a dog license, a current rabies vaccination certificate is required.  License fees are $5.00 for spayed or neutered dogs, $12.00 for intact dogs.  There is a $5.00 late fee for licenses issued after April 1, unless you acquired the pet and/or moved to the area after April 1.

Licenses are issued multiple ways: fill out this form and return it to Marie at mbannink@newrichmondwi.gov, or stop in to City Hall during the regular business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday.  If processing a license through the mail is more convenient for you, please include the rabies certificate and appropriate fee and send to:  City of New Richmond, 156 East First Street, New Richmond, WI  54017.  The license and rabies certificate will be returned to you by mail.
