Policies & Guidelines

The below policies, or set of guidelines, are a guiding principle, procedure, or strategy that has been adopted by our City Council. Generally, policies are meant to guide internal decision-making processes and can apply to employees, use of municipal facilities or the public body itself.  

A policy is designed to influence and determine decisions in the course of conducting certain municipal affairs. We strive to establish clear-cut, orderly, and systematic methods for handling certain administrative duties and internal city operations. These policies offer some flexibility to meet changing situations and conditions, yet provide enough consistency and fairness.
